Rais (head) of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov participated in a business breakfast as part of the first TIME: Russia – India. Mutual Efficiency forum.
The session was designed to strengthen cooperation between Tatarstan and India. Its participants discussed opportunities for economic interaction in investments and also exchanged experiences in innovative technologies aimed at joint sustainable development.
“We are holding this forum in our country, and I hope it will become an annual event. We are confident that it will serve as a starting point for the implementation of our joint projects. And most importantly, it will contribute to strengthening relations between Russia and India,” said the rais of Tatarstan.
Rustam Minnikhanov also noted that within the framework of relations between the countries government and business circles are actively working in various fields, and the Republic of Tatarstan consistently supports such initiatives year after year.
The meeting was moderated by Appointed Consul of the Consulate General of India in Kazan and Second Secretary of the Embassy of India in Russia Ms Geetika.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Russian Federation Vinay Kumar and head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Tatarstan Taliya Minullina also attended the business breakfast.
Representatives from India made some proposals: Secretary of the Ministry of AYUSH Rajesh Kumar Kotecha, Principal Secretary of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Dana Kishore, Principal Secretary of the Finance Department for the Government of Telangana Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Mayor of Agra Hemlata Diwakar, founder and President of the Indian Business Council Akashdeep Singh, Director of the Chamber of Indo-Russo Technology Collaboration Subham Sarkar and founder of Tech Police company Manan Maharaja.
TIME: Russia – India. Mutual Efficiency business forum will be held for the first time in Kazan on 8-9 October. The forum’s business programme at the Bashir Rameyev IT Park will unite sessions on key areas: investment and finance, the labour market, education and science, IT and digital technologies, medicine, the gas and petrochemical sector, agriculture, the film industry and media.
