The results of the first day of the Russian-Indian Business Forum

The Russian-Indian Business Forum is taking place in India on December 4-5. On the first day of the event, a number of statements were made:

Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, noted the record-breaking increase in trade between the two countries, which has reached 80% per year from 2022 to 2024.

Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov announced visa-free group tourist trips to Russia for Indian citizens and called on foreign companies to enter Russian marketplaces.

Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal stated that the countries will remove trade barriers.

In addition, the forum is attended by a delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan, which also includes representatives of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and the Directorate of International Programmes.
