India and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will discuss the conditions for establishing a free trade zone

The first round of negotiations between India and the EAEU on establishing a free trade zone is scheduled to take place in New Delhi in early November. This was reported by TV BRICS.

The EAEU is an international organization that aims to create conditions for the stable development of its member states' economies and to establish a common market for goods and services. The EAEU includes Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia.

An agreement to hold negotiations was reached at a meeting between Andrey Slepnev, Minister of Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), and Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry of India. The parties also approved a roadmap to accelerate negotiations.
