The Diwali Festival of Lights has been recognised as an intangible heritage by UNESCO.

The Diwali festival, which is considered to be the Indian New Year, has been included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List. This was announced by Indian Foreign Minister Subramanian Jayashankar.

Diwali symbolises the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. It is celebrated annually in October and November. Traditionally, people light candles, set off fireworks, and decorate their homes with garlands during the festival.

For India, it is a holiday of renewal (https://t.me/timetatarstan/209) and harmony, when families come together to start a new phase of life with pure intentions and an open heart. Additionally, in the business environment, Diwali marks the beginning of a new fiscal year.
