Tatarstan Strengthens Workforce Cooperation with India

A working meeting between representatives of ministries and government agencies of the Republic of Tatarstan and Indian recruitment agencies took place in Kazan. The event was also attended by representatives of technology parks and the Consulate General of India. The main focus was on hiring Indian specialists to work at enterprises in Tatarstan.
Experts consider India to be one of the most promising sources of skilled labour. Discussions primarily centred on IT professionals and software developers, engineers and construction workers, medical personnel, as well as seasonal workers for the agricultural sector.
Participants also addressed the conditions companies are prepared to offer foreign specialists, including accommodation, relocation assistance, and career development opportunities. Particular attention was given to adaptation measures, such as learning the Russian language, and obtaining visas and work permits.
The meeting was symbolically held on the 79th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and India, underscoring the continuity and depth of bilateral ties.
