India and Russia are considering visa simplification issues

The relevant agencies of the two countries are considering the issue of simplifying the visa regime for entrepreneurs and business circles. This statement was made by Andrey Sobolev, the Russian Trade Representative in New Delhi, to TASS.

According to him, such a decision will have a positive impact on increasing the intensity of business contacts and cooperation, as well as creating favorable conditions for investment and trade.

Earlier, Vinay Kumar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to the Russian Federation, told RIA Novosti that India may launch a visa-free regime for Russian tourist groups by the end of the year.
