The World Summit of Audiovisual and Entertainment Technologies has started in Mumbai. The official start of the summit was given by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He spoke in detail about the content that is being created in the country and how this industry can lead to an economic boom.
The opening ceremony of the summit was attended by Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova. According to a message on her official Telegram channel, Russian representatives spoke about the specifics of the development of Russian cinema, emphasising the importance of supporting the creation and promotion of high-quality films as a key task of state policy in the field of culture.
"During the opening ceremony, we also exchanged views on the importance of developing the audiovisual sector with colleagues from relevant departments in Egypt, Indonesia, Cuba, Tanzania and Rwanda," wrote the head of the Russian Ministry of Culture.
