The exhibition "On the Edge of Reality. Lost and Found" is open at the State Museum of Fine Arts of Tatarstan until May 17. Three artists, Rinat Nasyrov, Oleg Grigoriev, and Bulat Maksutov, have exhibited their works. The 30 visionary pieces showcase the authors' approach to knowledge, which is based on the practice of spiritual meditation.
The exhibition creates a space of cultural codes, as well as philosophical reflections on the laws of the universe and the nature of things. Most of the works are by the authorship of 84-year-old Rinat Nasyrov, an avant-garde artist who is passionate about Vedic philosophy, as well as the ideas of cosmism. India became his spiritual and ideological inspiration.
The author's work was influenced by the theory of transcendental meditation, work with Guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in the field of Vedic architecture, and the practice of TM-Sidhi.
At the opening of the exhibition, Taliya Minullina, Chief Executive of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, and Gitika Sivil, Vice-Consul of India in Kazan, delivered welcoming speeches.
