India and Russia have agreed on six investment cooperation projects

India and Russia have agreed on six new strategic projects to boost bilateral investment cooperation. This was announced by the Indian Ministry of Trade and Industry following the eighth meeting of the bilateral working group on priority investment projects, operating under the Russian-Indian intergovernmental commission on Trade, Economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation.

"The meeting of the working group was successful, its purpose was to strengthen economic ties between India and Russia by identifying and promoting joint projects in sectors of mutual interest," the Ministry said.

According to the Ministry, numerous projects of strategic importance for both countries were considered.
