On March 25, 2026, a business seminar “How to Do Business with India” will be held in Kazan. The seminar will be dedicated to practical issues of Russian companies entering the Indian market and developing bilateral economic cooperation. The event will take place in Kazan Palace by TASIGO.
The seminar’s main sessions will bring together representatives from government agencies, business associations, the banking sector, industry, science, and education, industry experts from Russia and India, and entrepreneurs interested in developing cooperation with Indian partners. Participants will discuss operating principles in the Indian market, new opportunities for industrial and investment cooperation, as well as prospects for collaboration in the agro-industrial complex, textiles, pharmaceuticals, high technologies, and human capital.
The event will open with a welcome session featuring the Deputy Minister of Commerce and Industry of India, Amardeep Singh Bhatia, Chief Executive of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, Taliya Minullina, and the Consul General of India in Kazan, Jaysundhar D.
“Today, India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world and an important partner of Russia. At the same time, many Russian companies still perceive the Indian market as complex and insufficiently understood. The business seminar will serve as a platform where entrepreneurs will be able to gain practical knowledge, establish direct contacts with Indian partners and better understand the way the economy of this country works. We see great potential for cooperation in industry, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and technology. I am confident that such meetings help not only to share experiences, but also form real projects and long-term business ties between our countries,” said Taliya Minullina, Chief Executive of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.
The practice of starting business in India will become one of the key topics of this seminar. Experts will discuss the specifics of the business environment, partner search, supply chain development, project financing, and production localization, as well as the role of State support principles shaping India’s modern manufacturing ecosystem.
A separate program section is dedicated to new industrial areas of cooperation. Participants will explore opportunities for collaboration in the field of “green mobility” and the development of environmentally friendly transport infrastructure, including production of technological solutions for the modern transportation system.
Agro-industrial cooperation will receive significant attention. During the seminar, experts will present India’s Mega Food Parks program, which aims to create large agro-industrial clusters that integrate the processing, storage, and export of agricultural products.
Another area of discussion is the development of the textile industry within the framework of the Indian government’s PM MITRA Parks initiative, which aims to create integrated, full-cycle production clusters from raw materials to end products.
