In India there are plans to create a Russian language training center. This was announced at the business forum "TIME: Russia – India. Mutual Efficiency" by the Principal Secretary of the Indian Administrative Service of Labor, Employment, Training and Factories Department, Deputy Chairman of the Telangana State Overseas Employment Corporation, Dana Kishore.
"We have reached an agreement with one of the companies – we need to create a Russian language training center. Our representatives can come there and choose the sphere they plan to work in. We do not know the demands that will arise over time. Perhaps we will develop in different directions. It is necessary for us to have interaction between the countries," said Dana Kishore.
He noted that the economic ties between Tatarstan and India are greatly expanding, serving as a platform for attracting specialists who will work in Russia. India can offer competent workers – engineers, as well as specialists in the fields of construction, mechanics, computer operations, medicine, IT and the petrochemical complex.
"We train more than 100,000 engineers every year. We also have industrial institutes. Currently, we have between 1.5 million to 3 million engineers on the market who are ready to go to Russia. The trade turnover between India and Tatarstan is growing, resulting in high demand for personnel," said Dana Kishore.
Tatarstan considers India as a country with great labor potential, where the working-age population exceeds 550 million people, said Deputy Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, Klara Tazetdinova.
"It is also attractive to us because there is a lot of skilled labor, workers are highly adaptable, and there is a good knowledge of the English language. There is a well-developed IT industry, medicine and agriculture," noted Klara Tazetdinova.
Teaching the Russian language for incoming specialists is provided in the republic, which is done at Kazan Federal University, reported Galina Mashtakova, a member of the Council on personnel policy issues under the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan and the general director of LLC "GMC Consulting." Each employer develops their own personnel adaptation program – both to work-related aspects and the culture of the organization, as well as to the culture of Tatarstan.
"On the Indian side, recruitment is already quite well developed, which cannot be said about the countries of the near abroad – they had to be specially trained for this. In India, they monitor the quality of conditions provided by employers themselves, the adaptation program, living conditions, and so on. Our recruiting agencies are also involved in this. It becomes easier for employers here to engage not only workers but also highly qualified specialists," said Galina Mashtakova.
