Haier Electrical Appliances Rus LLC

Haier entered the Russian market in 2007, being one of the leading manufacturers of household appliances in the world by that time. In 2016, Haier opened a refrigerator factory in Naberezhnye Chelny, thus creating 15,000 jobs, and the first facility within the future Industrial Park –– a washing machine factory with 5,000 jobs –– in 2019. The total area of the Park is 1,277,300 m². The infrastructure meets Haier’s international standards and is divided into three areas: high-tech enterprises for the production of Haier household appliances; a research and development centre; and a logistics hub for exporting manufactured products. “KAMAZ” Automotive Plant

The largest manufacturer of heavy trucks in Russia. This single production complex covers the entire process cycle for the production of trucks: from development, manufacturing, and assembly of vehicles and automotive components to sales of finished products and further service support. The PAO “KAMAZ” Group unites more than 100 companies across Russia, CIS and non-CIS countries. Every third truck with GVW of 14-40 tonnes in Russia and CIS countries is a KAMAZ. Alabuga SEZ

AO “Taneko”

A modern oil refining complex, which has implemented advanced process solutions –– such as machine learning and artificial intelligence –– to ensure high production efficiency. This socially oriented and dynamically developing enterprise includes a system of oil refineries and petrochemical plants in the city of Nizhnekamsk. The complex is aimed at promoting high-tech, efficient, and eco-friendly processing of oil and production of competitive goods that confirm to superior environmental standards while having a minimal impact on the environment, as well as building and maintaining the reputation as a reliable producer of high-quality petroleum products.

Chemical Industry
PAO “Kazanorgsintez”

Kazanorgsintez is one of the leading enterprises of the Russian chemical industry, which presents a strategically important production complex for the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. It is the only Russian producer of polycarbonates, EVA, metallocene polyethylene, i.e. high-strength plastics, as well as one of the country’s largest producers of high- and low density polyethylene. Starting from 2021, Kazanorgsintez forms a part of PAO “SIBUR Holding”.
Kazanorgsintez main production facilities are located on a site with a total area of 4.2 sq. km and a single transport, energy, and telecommunications infrastructure. The company’s network includes 3 plants producing 170 goods strongly sought-for in 36 countries of the world. The factory’s production capacity of polyethylene and polycarbonate amounts to more than 1 million tonnes per year.

AO “Khimgrad”

A modern industrial chemical park established in 2006 on the “Tasma” plant industrial site with a total area of 131 hectares and a projected floor area of buildings and structures of more than 500 thousand sq. m.
The purpose behind “Khimgrad” Technopolis was to provide residents with space and land plots on a lease and/or purchase basis. Comprehensive engineering infrastructure allows for a quick start-up of production facilities. The site is managed by a professional management company and is organised following a ‘one-stop shop’ approach. The Technopolis residents are small and medium enterprises working in fine chemical industry, polymer processing, nanotechnology, resource conservation and energy efficiency, and medical technology.
Seven foreign-owned enterprises operate in the territory of “Khimgrad” Technopolis, including the production facilities of the MBS International Group and the French company Air Liquide.

AO “Nefis Cosmetics”

The largest Russian manufacturer of household chemicals and cosmetic products. Nefis Cosmetics is among the top 3 leading companies for the production and sale of laundry detergents, as well as washing and cleaning products of such brands as AOS; BiMAX; Sorti; Biolan; baby and mum brand “Ya Rodilsya” (“I Was Born”); such natural brands as “Zavod Bratyev Krestovnikovykh” (“Krestovnikov Brothers’ Plant”), “Tselebnyye travy” (“Healing Herbs”), “Lesnaya polyanka” (“Forest Clearing”); and Free Time. More than 600 items in total are produced and sold in retail home care products and department stores throughout the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and CIS countries.

IT innovations
 A.S. Popov Technopark

Innopolis is a city in the Verkhneuslonsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan, presenting the youngest city in Russia. It is one of three Science Towns in the Russian Federation (along with the Skolkovo centre near Moscow and Koltsovo in Novosibirsk) created for advancing information technology and innovative high-tech solutions.
The Innopolis Special Economic Zone (SEZ), with an area of 192.71 hectares, was designed to accommodate the offices of resident companies as well as research and development laboratories. The residents get preferential treatment in regard to income, transport, property, and land tax, as well as insurance premiums, and to income tax thanks to the simplified taxation system. The offices and research centres of resident companies and partners are located in the building of the A.S. Popov Technopark. More than 300 companies (residents, partners, and start-ups) operate in the SEZ.

Innopolis University

The private Innopolis University, located in the city of Innopolis, trains high-tech managers and conducts scientific research in information technology and robotics. The University has been operating since 2012, applying a unique learning plan for Russia that combines education, science, and business.
All classes are in English. Professors and researchers from 24 countries with work experience across the world’s leading IT companies teach here. Around 40% of the curriculum presents practical activities and team projects. More than 1,000 students from 40 countries study at the University.

ANO “School 21”

A free digital technology school from Sberbank. The teaching technique is based on the ‘peer-to-peer method’, where participants learn from each other. This is a Russian franchise of the French programming school Ecole 42. Anyone between the ages of 18 and 30 can enrol, regardless of their previous education, experience, any programming skills or lack thereof. It is called a ‘school of the future’, where the learning process is gamified: each applicant or student has a certain level, and at the beginning of their path they first have to pass the simplest ‘missions’
