COOPERATION
BETWEEN TATARSTAN AND INDIA
The Russian Federation has an Indian Embassy in Moscow and a Consulate General of India in St. Petersburg. In 2025, it is planned to open an Indian Consulate in the capital of Tatarstan - the city of Kazan.

The trade turnover of the Republic of Tatarstan with India for in 2024 - 359,4 million US dollars.
Tatarstan exports the most to India: oil and petroleum products; fats and oils of animal or vegetable origin; organic chemical compounds. The most imported goods from India to the Republic of Tajikistan are: electrical machines and equipment; rubber and caoutchouc products; nuclear equipment.
