Literary exchange is becoming an important part of the cultural dialogue between Russia and India, allowing readers of the two countries to discover national literature and modern authorial voices. Within the framework of the forum, the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Consulate General of India in Kazan, will present books by Indian authors in Hindi and seven works of Indian literature translated into Russian. A special place will be given to the collection of poems by the Tatar poet Musa Jalil, translated into Hindi by the Russian Foreign Ministry office in Kazan. The presentation will continue with a dialogue between Russian and Indian translators, philologists and students, dedicated to the role of translation in developing mutual interest in culture and strengthening humanitarian ties between the two countries.
